There are things we can predict and things that often catch us off guard. We know Jesus is coming back, but we don’t know when. Here is something we do know. Christmas is soon to be behind us and that often brings on an array of emotions of which most are discouraging. So, let’s get ready to embrace those feelings. One way of facing this is to plan something special for January and February, typically seen as cold, boring months in Ohio. Plan a get-together that makes you happy. The excitement of looking forward to this can help get us to spring where the birds chirp and the new life of spring brings us an optimistic look at the future. Another way is to recall the promises of God and see the future with a Godly vision. People, places, and things all seem brighter when we see them through God’s eyes. Get ready, Christmas past is coming but now we are prepared for it.
Hope to see you soon.
