There is a cultural movement in America today, unlike anything we’ve ever faced. How are we as Christians supposed to deal with cultural shifts? First, we must remember that all we do is to be motivated by love. Ephesians 4:15 directs us to speak the truth in love, not condemnation. Conversations should be based on humility and God’s grace not out of hostility. When ideas or practices are outside of God’s will, we must remember our goal is not to win an argument, but to reflect Christ’s love and to point people to him. We must listen with a loving motive and not respond out of hatred. People often choose a belief contrary to the Word of God out of fear or insecurity. God’s Word is truth; our job is to help others find it. Stay encouraged and be blessed, my friends.
