The world is filled with distractions, competing priorities, and countless philosophies. Every human being must decide on how to live their life. This decision will transform a person’s identity, values, and general life approach. With this in mind we must realize that Jesus is the source of our true identity.
2 Corinthians 5:17 says, “If anyone is in Christ, the new creation has come the old has gone the new is here”. A commitment to following the life of Jesus is a commitment to say no to the things of the world and yes to the things of God. This not only provides us with a guide for moral standards but also provides unshakeable peace and joy.
Jesus brings a real purpose and meaning to an individual’s life. Someday when we look back on our life there are certain things we will regret and certain things we will appreciate. However, the most important of all those decisions is the one we made to put Jesus first in our lives. Putting Him first inspires us to live with intention and a positive outlook that will better our lives and the lives of others. I pray that you have chosen and will continue to put Jesus Christ first in your life. Be thankful for all he has provided and look forward to what he has for your future. Blessings my friends.
Hope to see you soon.
