Investing in the future

Last month we were blessed to accompany a group of men to the district campgrounds in Logan Ohio to help build a Cabin that will be used for housing young people during Christian camps. It was very rewarding the feeling of knowing that through our efforts there would be more young people, hearing the word of God and making new friends. Not everybody can swing a hammer or drive a nail, but there are always opportunities for us to be difference makers and opportunists in the lives of young people. I am so grateful for the men in our church who donate so much time to a ministry like this. Friendships are formed and lives are impacted when we commit to serving God. He has called us to be a difference maker. So, whether it’s building a Cabin for young people or simply teaching a class, please don’t let the opportunities pass you by for you truly are laying up treasures in Heaven.
