“Keep Me in Your Prayers”
Have you ever said, or heard someone else say, “keep me in your prayers”?
It seems to be a common request when life’s circumstances seem overwhelming. Why would somebody ask for prayer in an overwhelming time in their life? The truth is that prayer puts us in touch with God, our Creator.
No one knows us better than the one who created us, and therefore, we find peace and strength by trusting in Him. Jesus’ disciples asked Him to “teach us to pray”. He answered them with the example known as the ‘Lord’s Prayer’ I’m convinced there is wisdom in understanding the value of prayer and praying to the God who hears and answers prayer. If we trust in our Creator, we will find strength sufficient, even in times when we feel overwhelmed. The Bible says, “if any of us lacks wisdom, ask Him for it”. I have found that trusting in God is a result of perseverance and wisdom. It has always provided me with the ability to get through any circumstance. I pray today that you too will trust in God and take time out of your busy schedule to pray to Him regularly.
Blessings my friends.
