Holiday Rebound
I don't know about you, but I look forward to Thanksgiving and Christmas because of the meaning and the gathering of friends and family. It seems like a time of year that takes forever to arrive and then in the blink of an eye it's gone. So, we start the new year off thinking of what we hope to be different this year. Sometimes it's discouraging because it seems like it's back to an old routine. Maybe that's why I'm still listening to Christmas songs. I think what it's pointing out to me is that we have to have an encouraging positive focus in our life. My prayer this year is for a great revival to take place across the land and right here in our church. I hope that you feel like I do. I don't want to put in just another typical year. The exciting thing about this year is to think about what Christ can accomplish in the lives of people as we represent him. So don't get discouraged. The holidays are past so let’s focus on the opportunity that lies before us through Jesus. Christmas and Thanksgiving were never intended to be all about us. Be a difference maker this year.
Blessings my friends.
Hope to see you Sunday.
