Be a Part of a Dynasty

A dynasty is a team that has won and that has dominated for multiple seasons. Typically, a dynasty is required to win at least two championships. However, there are exceptions to this like the Atlanta Braves in the 1990s.  Under the direction of manager, Bobby Cox and supported by phenomenal players, like Chipper Jones, John Smoltz, Greg Maddux, and Tom Glavin the Braves were able to dominate major league baseball for eight straight years. However, it was only in 1995 that they were able to win the World Series. With only one championship, the Braves were still considered a dynasty in major league baseball.

When I think of a dynasty and consider the church, it makes me think of the people who have been faithful to Jesus year after year. These champions have not only supported the church through faithful attendance, but also through the giving of time in finances, board members or Sunday School teachers, and other volunteer positions in the church. With this type of dedication, lives are changed and influenced for the good and the cause of Jesus Christ. My prayer is that you will be a part of God’s dynasty and be a true champion influencer in the church for years to come. Hope to see you Sunday. Blessings my friends.
