Reaching New Heights

What’s the highest you ever climbed? I’ve never scaled the side of a mountain or jumped out of an airplane. However, in my early years as a firefighter, we would train by climbing a 75-foot ladder truck and repelling back to the ground on a rope. I was thinking along this line and wondered what’s the highest you have climbed in your life?

There were times in my college years when I would feel overwhelmed, and I remember going to the nursing home to visit some of my friends that I had met through the college ministry. Somehow when I visited with them and listened to all they were going through it would brighten my day. I know firsthand how easy it is to focus on all of the problems that we experience in life, but I am so thankful for Jesus even in those difficult times his love reaches out to us as a friend who cares. My prayer is that you can experience new heights in your life by trusting in Jesus for he will lead the way. Blessings my friends.
