Chapter 2: Busyness

Theme: Choosing Togetherness over distractions.
Scripture:
Psalm 46:10 (NLT) says, “Be still, and know that I am God! I will be honored by
every nation. I will be honored throughout the world.”
Devotional:
Busyness is one of intimacy's greatest enemies. Work, errands, kids, and responsibilities can pull couples in different directions. Yet God calls us to slow down and make space for Him and for one another. True love requires time—time to listen, time to share, and time to simply be
together.

Discussion/Prayer:
 What fills your calendar but empties your marriage?
 How can you set aside weekly time together with God and each other?

Prayer: “Father, teach us to value time together as much as we value productivity. Help us protect
our marriage from the trap of busyness, and remind us that time with you is never wasted.”
