Child Of God

“Child of God”
“See how very much our father loves us, for he calls us his children, and that is what we
are! But the people who belong to this world don’t recognize that we are God’s children
because they don’t know him.”
What does it mean to you to be a child of God? To me, it means recognizing the
difference between this world and God’s heaven. This passage is full of hope and the
pleasant promises God has bestowed on us.
Let us focus on the Spirit-filled hope of Christ and its encouragement. Our longing is to
be with God and our loved ones for all eternity. When we live like this, every day
becomes a blessed day.
If you are feeling discouraged, look up. Those who put their faith in Jesus do not belong
to the world but become children of the living God.
