Live like the patriarchs

“Live like the patriarchs”
The Bible is full of stories of the faithful. I enjoyed preaching about Moses and his
faithfulness last Sunday. I have not figured out how his eyes and strength were as good
as in a younger time of his life.
Anyhow my thoughts are how great it feels to follow a patriarch and to see how God
works in the lives of the faithful.
This is where we all come in. God is in the business of building relationships with people
who love him. Who would think that someday we could have a relationship with God like
those who we read about, it’s true.
What biblical legacy are you going to leave with the generations yet to look back and
discuss your life? What are the accomplishments they will begin to list that you were
able to do for Jesus? A patriarch isn’t a bystander rather a believer committed to doing
whatever God causes us to do even if we, as in the case of Moses did not feel worthy
or capable.
