The Empty Cross

“The Empty Cross”
I think everyone knows what Easter is all about. Jesus Christ, who died on the cross, rose from the dead. It is factual and proven, and he gives us hope that we otherwise would not have. It is a wonderful time in life when even the children who celebrate with candy, Easter baskets, and a friendly little bunny rabbit begin to understand that there’s so much more to Easter. There are many challenges in our world today we face daily. The encouragement comes from, trusting in Jesus Christ and the relationship that we can have with him. In John chapter 3 Jesus tells Nicodemus that you must be born again. And in Romans 10:9–10 the scripture tells us that if we confess with our mouth that Jesus is Lord and believe in our heart that God raised him from the dead we shall be saved. The point is that it’s more than just being a good person or a kind of person. Every one of us must confess our sins to Jesus and ask for his forgiveness and then we will understand the power and the hope of Easter. It is a wise decision for all of us to make peace with Jesus Christ as soon as we can so “hop” to it.
Blessings, my friends, and happy Easter.
